About Tiny Travellers of the World

A considered approach to family hospitality

Tiny Travellers of the World is a specialist family hospitality consultancy supporting luxury hotels and resorts in delivering family experiences that feel calm, refined, and fully aligned with brand standards.

Families represent one of the most valuable guest segments in hospitality, yet they are often the most complex to serve well. When family services are poorly designed, they can disrupt atmosphere, challenge teams, and dilute brand perception. When approached with care and intention, they can enhance guest satisfaction, protect the guest experience, and build long-term loyalty.

Founded on first-hand family insight

Tiny Travellers of the World was founded by Hannah Venable-Smith, a family hospitality consultant with over ten years’ experience working closely with high-expectation families.

Hannah trained at Norland College and spent more than a decade as a Norland nanny, supporting families who expect the highest standards of care, discretion, safety, and professionalism. This background provides a rare perspective: an operational, first-hand understanding of how families actually experience luxury hospitality — day after day.

A specialist perspective on luxury families

Families who utilise the luxury hospitality sector are not looking for gimmicks or generic “family-friendly” offerings. They expect the same level of thought, polish, and intentionality applied to family services as they do to dining, design, or wellness.

Tiny Travellers of the World helps hotels understand:

  • What genuinely reassures parents — and what quietly undermines trust
  • How children interact with refined, shared hotel spaces
  • Where subtle adjustments can significantly improve the guest experience
  • Why well-intentioned family initiatives sometimes fall short

The result is family hospitality that feels effortless, discreet, and entirely consistent with a luxury environment.

Why Tiny Travellers of the World

Hotels work with Tiny Travellers of the World to reduce friction, improve family guest satisfaction, and protect the calm, considered atmosphere their brand is built on.

Luxury hotels do not need more family amenities, they need clarity. Norland training is internationally recognised for its emphasis on professionalism, safeguarding, emotional intelligence, and discretion. When applied strategically within hospitality, this expertise allows hotels to approach family services with clarity and confidence.

Tiny Travellers of the World supports hotels in:

  • Designing family services aligned with luxury brand positioning
  • Improving satisfaction and loyalty among family guests
  • Supporting teams with clear, practical guidance
  • Protecting atmosphere while welcoming younger guests
  • Strengthening reviews, reputation, and repeat bookings

Hotels gain access to specialist insight without needing to build this expertise in-house.

How we work

The consultancy works in a collaborative, discreet, and property-specific way.

Engagements typically include:

  • Reviewing the family guest journey from arrival to departure
  • Identifying gaps between how services are intended to work and how guests truly experience them
  • Advising on family services, spaces, and touchpoints
  • Supporting teams with guidance that is practical and operationally realistic

Every recommendation is grounded in real family behaviour and an understanding of hotel operations.

Who we work best with

Tiny Travellers of the World works best with luxury hotels and resorts that:

  • Prioritise guest experience and brand integrity
  • Want to welcome families without compromising atmosphere
  • View family services as a strategic opportunity rather than an add-on

The consultancy may not be the right fit for properties seeking quick fixes or surface-level solutions.

A refined standard

Family-friendly does not need to mean loud, cluttered, or compromised.
When approached with care, it can be calm, thoughtful, and quietly exceptional.

That is the standard Tiny Travellers of the World helps luxury hotels achieve.

If you are considering how families fit into your brand — thoughtfully, discreetly, and strategically — we would welcome a conversation
